BOOKED PERFORMERS' FAQ
PA/SOUND PLANNING
Please be in touch with our us about your plans for sound, and what you'll need, a few days in advance at least! Please remember that you'll need less sound reinforcement here than usual, due to our listening room setting and extremely live acoustic.
We have an 8-channel PA and PA speakers, some vocal mics, mic stands, music stands, etc. We prefer that you bring your own mics as well, if possible. Either way, please call ahead, a few days in advance, to discuss: 603-562-5179.
GETTING HERE
Look at our general FAQ page. We're a cinch to find if you've been here before, but if you're a first-timer, you're going to need help. Our address is 17 Street, Nashua.
CHECKING IN
Generally, load-in happens about two hours before the show. Folks who have very minimal sound reinforcement requirements can turn up as late as an hour or so before the show. This is something to discuss with Randy.
Please call us around noon on the day of the event to let us know your specific plans and approximate load-in time: 603-562-5179
LOADING IN
We have an elevator in the foyer at the back of 115 Main Street; there are no stairs leading up to the foyer. The elevator holds up to 1200 pounds. You may park temporarily, with your blinkers on, in the handicapped spot directly in front of the door as you load in. Throw the red "RUN/STOP" switch on the elevator to keep it on the first floor, with its doors open, as you load in through the elevator doors.
PARKING
Parking at ANY of the spots in the Water Street Lot is free and legal on weekends and after 5 on weekdays (including spots marked "RESERVED" and spots with meters)...i.e., anywhere in the lot except for handicapped spots is just fine.
SNACKS
Coffee, tea, cold drinks, and snacks are complimentary for our booked artists during soundcheck/warmup.
Please don't help yourself to more snacks/bevs without paying after the audience has arrived, though --- it will confuse the audience members, who are on the "pay on the honor system" plan.
ONE SET or TWO?
It's your call. If the audience seems restless and needs to stretch their legs, by all means, take a short break (and be prepared to chat and sell your CDs during the break!) If not, going straight through with a ~90 minute set is just fine.
CD / MERCHANDISE SALES
You keep 100% of the proceeds from the sale of any of your CDs/merch, but we expect you to bring along your own "bank" of small bills for change and transact the sales yourself --- unless you arrange otherwise with us in advance.
