TourFilter.com, an innovative "open-source"-style listing of concerts which has been likened repeatedly to Craigslist, has been around for a few years.
We're on the Boston page; locally, there's also a Western Massachusetts page. Covering bands city by city (from Albuquerque to Wichita), Tourfilter was described by Rolling Stone magazine:
“lean, mean, pretty cool .... delivers concert info with a grass-roots twist ... serves as a cool way to discover new artists ... could become the Craigslist of the concert-info-world ”
On Wednesday April 22 at 6:30 pm, a meeting regarding NH ArtSpider will take place at the Studio. It will be a part of a series of meetings taking place in different parts of the state (the locations other than Nashua are Deerfield, Rollinsford, Keene, Manchester, and Warner), looking towards building a state-wide organization that focuses on all arts, whether performing or visual.
"A project that aims to web New Hampshire area artists, venue owners, and potential audience members together...using Web 2.0 technology".
The meeting is open to the all interested individuals. Hope to see you there!
ArtSpider's own blog had a take on our meeting today.
What a night! Miss Tess and the band thrilled the Studio 99 audience with two energy-infused sets of their trademark "Modern Vintage" sound.
