Jazz pianist Ben Geyer joins our faculty

Seasoned by years of work in New York City, Nashua native Ben Geyer is a pianist, composer, and bandleader.  His has worked extensively with his own jazz sextet and with his cover band The Gate.

More locally, Ben has performed at the Lilypad in Cambridge, The Press Room in Portsmouth, and Red Square in Burlington, Vermont.

Ben has studied with jazz legends Hal Galper and Jon Faddis, as well as classical pianist Ivan Davis, one of Vladimir Horowitz’s few students.  He holds a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Miami, and a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from Purchase College, SUNY.
